It’s love at first sight, but he seems familiar somehow. As her feelings grow, new people arrive at school. Samuel reveals to her that they are all Guardians, sent to Earth to protect and guard, and that they’ve been looking for her for ten years. Ally soon discovers that the normal life she has been living so far in Hayden has in fact never existed, and that she is in fact an Angel of the Lord. She has to deal with memories from a past she doesn’t know, from an old and complicated love story with Samuel, and fight against her childhood best friend, Hannah, who was sent to Earth to destroy her and human kind. As she starts getting back to the normal and simple life she had before the Guardians arrived in town, Yale gives her the impossible: a glimpse of her angel's life and answers to questions she had been waiting for. Hannah has joined the Teflin and powerful Fallen, and soon, the life in Hayden will be once more turned upside down and everything is going to take a turn for the worse. Ally will have to face Hannah, among some strong Fallen Angels, but will she be strong enough to stop them?
